method of peeling tomatoes

It is easy to remove the skin from tomatoes. There are only 3 simple steps.

Peeling tomatoes

Cut a cross in the top of each tomato using a small, sharp cooking knife.

Carefully place tomatoes in very hot, but not boiling water for about 1 minute then cool down in water adding ice cubes.

Remove the tomatoes from the water as soon as the skin starts to peel back and become detached from the flesh. Then peel away the skins.

If I you need seeded tomatoes, divide them into halves or quarters and remove seeds using a teaspoon.
